Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is in search of a private chef who is knowledgeable about ancestral-based diets and shares his passion for optimum performance, according to an exclusive report. Rodgers is looking for someone who can help prepare meals that align with his dietary preferences and fuel his physical fitness requirements. This news comes as the NFL season approaches, indicating Rodgers’ dedication to maintaining his health and peak performance on the field. By seeking a chef with expertise in ancestral-based diets, Rodgers aims to maximize his energy levels and overall well-being during the season..
He famously ingested plant-based hallucinogenic ayahuasca in pursuit of spiritual growth, but Aaron Rodgers is now turning his attention to more physical matters as he prepares for a new NFL season, DailyMail.com has learned.
Hailed the latest and greatest hope for the New York Jets, the quarterback is looking for a personal chef who needs to be ‘savvy with an ‘ancestral based’ diet and have the same ‘passion for performance’ that he does.
After 18 seasons and 252 games with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers, 39, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 17, is just days away from making his debut on the Jets.
According to NFL alum Tom Brady, 46, who recently retired having moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after 20 years with the New England Patriots, jumping into a new team after almost two decades with his old one will be ‘invigorating’ for Rodgers who will, Brady recently said, require ‘a different type of emotional energy.’

Like most NFL stars, the four-time MVP sticks to a strict exercise and diet regimen, which he credits for boosting his performance on the field
Rodgers has reportedly turned to Brady – famed for his career longevity and strict health regimen – for dietary advice as he stares down the barrel of 40.
As a result, he no longer consumes dairy, gluten, or caffeine.
Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show in January 2021 Rodgers said: ‘Cutting gluten, and probably most importantly for me and my own blood type, dairy, out of my diet has really made a difference in my body.
‘It’s just changed the way my joints respond. It’s changed the way my skin and body respond. I don’t feel bloated all the time, I don’t feel kind of slow and foggy.’
While with the Packers, Rodgers said: ‘Everybody eats a little differently. But the more you are aware of what you put in your body and how it affects your performance, the better opportunities you have. And that’s what I’m trying to do.’
To that end, according to a well-placed source, Rodgers, a four-time winner of the NFL’s Most Valuable Player title, will be fueling his performance with a predominantly vegan, protein rich, ‘ancestral diet.’
The diet focuses on non-industrialized, minimally processed foods of the sort our ancestors might have consumed.
Rodgers reportedly eats oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, chicken or a plant based protein and green salad for lunch and occasionally red meat and vegetables for dinner.

He supplements his diet with whey protein and multivitamin ZMA which contains zinc, magnesium and aspartate which can act as a muscle relaxant.
And whoever snags the gig as Rodgers’s personal chefs can expect to earn anything from $30,000 to $80,000 a year, travel with their client and tailor their cooking to his strict dietary requirements and work-out schedule.
By his own admission, aging has changed Rodgers’s approach to food and his shifting metabolism.
Ten years ago, Rodgers said: ‘I used to go out on a Friday night and have a nice big meal. Steaks and sauces and starches. That was kind of my cheat day of the week.
‘But now it’s about smaller portions and eating more often. Then you can have your one or two days out – but if you go out a couple nights a week, one of those meals should probably be on the healthier side, with some sort of protein with limited sauce, obviously some greens…and not a huge dessert. Which is tough.’
And while he once did commercials for Pizza Hut the truth is that these days the top tier athlete rarely indulges in what was once one of his favorite foods.
Rodgers has also revealed that he occasionally undergoes intensive 12-day cleanses which see him additionally cut out ‘sugar, sex and alcohol’ and instead consume ‘ghee and laxatives.’
The process, called a Panchakarma, is an Indian Ayurvedic practice meant to heal the body and mind.
Practitioners are also encouraged to eat only specific food like rice and mung beans, avoid cold food and drinks and in some cases take part in ‘therapeutic vomiting,’ enemas and bloodletting.

Earlier this week Rodgers shared an extraordinary story on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ series in which he recalled seeing an UFO in 2005, shortly before he was signed by the Packers in the first round of the draft.
He was with former Cal teammate Steve Levy at Levy’s house in New Jersey and going to bed after dinner when he suddenly heard an alarm in the distance.
According to Rodgers he got up, walked downstairs and went outside with Levy and his brother.
He recalled: ‘Up in the clouds, we saw this tremendously large object moving in the sky.
‘It was like a scene out of ‘Independence Day’ when the ships are coming into the atmosphere and creating this explosion type fire in the sky.’
He continued: ‘We saw this incredibly large object and froze like anybody would. Eventually, it went out of sight, and nobody said a word.
‘We stood frozen, the three of us, on the front stoop of Steve’s house. About 30 seconds later, we heard the real recognizable sound of fighter jets…that seemed to be chasing this object.
‘And again, we just stood there in disbelief for another few minutes. Nobody said a word.
‘And then we all kind of looked at each other saying, ‘Did we just see what we think we just saw?’
