After the (disgraceful) cancellation of Ash vs. Evil Dead, Bruce Campbell indicated that he was fully done with portraying Ash Williams after decades of being groovy. Now, though, it looks like he’s making one more return to the role for Dead By Daylight.

Bruce Campbell himself appears in the announcement trailer before a quick bit of gameplay footage featuring Ash is shown.

Ash will act as the 17th survivor available for the game since the game launched way back in 2016. He will be modelled on his Ash vs. Evil Dead version.

Ash will be playable from April 2nd for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players; the new character will also be available at PAX East ahead of official release.

Elsewhere, Bruce Campbell may even reprise the role once again for a virtual reality Evil Dead game.
