To fend off a determined push from Alastair Seeley (Powertoolmate Ducati) on the final lap, Padgett’s rider Milenco Honda had to give it his all. Todd won by 0.108 seconds at the finish line.
Nottingham’s Richard Cooper claimed the final podium spot for Northern Ireland’s BPE/Russell Racing team on his Yamaha R6, by just under four tenths of a second with the top three riders.
On his MD Racing Yamaha, Ballymoney’s 33-year-old Michael Dunlop finished fourth despite vying for victory throughout the six-lap race.

At the start of the final lap, the 43-year-old overtook Cooper at Juniper chicane to take the lead, but Todd was determined.

In 2019, the 27-year-old tennis player finished first in the North West Supersport tournament in the rain, but this victory means more than that.
After all of last year’s second-place finish, he added, “The team has worked really hard and that means a lot.”
I don’t want to miss that opportunity. The final round was quite difficult to judge but I was happy and it was a dream.
“In the last round, you can’t be strategic because you don’t know what’s going to happen from turn to turn. This really means a lot, even though I won 600 points in the rain.”
The runner-up “Not for lack of effort,” continued Seeley, “and it was a typical Supersport race with lots of bumps. “In the last round, I tried to break through, but it didn’t work.”
