Former Flames Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift Unite with Sophie Turner for a Fun-Filled Girls’ Night Out in NYC Following Surprise Divorce – Great

Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner – two of Joe Jonas‘ exes – were seen strolling arm-in-arm as they enjoyed a girls’ night out in New York City on Tuesday. 

The Bad Blood hitmaker, 33, caught up with the Game Of Thrones alum, 27, as they enjoyed a lowkey dinner at Via Carota in the heart of the city – shortly after the Jonas Brothers singer filed for divorce from the actress earlier this month. 

The Grammy winner notably dated Joe from July 2008 until their split only a few months later in October. 

Sophie – who shares two children with the former Disney channel actor – tied the knot with Jonas in 2019 until their shock split came to light mere weeks ago.  

However, his exes appeared to be in good spirits as they held small smiles on their faces as they made their way through a crowded sidewalk. 

Taylor showed off her early fall style by donning a rust-colored dress which she layered with an oversized, denim jacket that she chose to leave unfastened. 

She slipped into a pair of brown, crocodile-embossed boots that contained a chunky heel on the back. 

Her blonde locks were easily swept back into a simply ponytail, allowing her bangs to gently fall down straight onto her forehead. 

The Cruel Summer songstress accessorized her ensemble for the special outing by adding an assortment of gold-chained necklaces as well as dainty gold earrings. 

For a bit of color contrast, Swift was seen carrying a green purse in her hand to hold items she needed for the lavish weeknight dinner. 

Sophie – who has been busy filming the upcoming ITV drama Joan in Spain – has appeared to be moving on following her split from Joe Jonas after four years of marriage. 

As she joined one of his exes, Turner flashed a glimpse of her taut midriff wearing a gray, halter-styled cropped top with a plunging neckline. 

The Do Revenge actress slipped into a pair of loose-fitting, dark gray trousers that were secured with a belt. A black sweater was tied around her waist in case she grew chilly later in the evening. 

The star slipped into a pair of white sneakers to stay comfortable for the outing and  slung a small, black purse over her shoulder. 

Similar to Taylor, her hair was also tossed up into a stylish ponytail, allowing loose strands to border the sides of her face. 

The mother of two added a gold-chained necklace as well as fashionable, dangly gold earrings to accessorize her look for the night. 

The stylish pair were spotted making their way through a crowded street in the bustling city as they confidently linked arms.

Before Sophie and Jonas first crossed paths, the Jonas Brothers star briefly dated Swift in 2008 which only lasted for around four months. 

Fans have speculated that her track titled, Forever & Always, from her album Fearless was possibly written about her ex, as well as Mr. Perfectly Fine, which appeared as a Vault track on her Fearless (Taylor’s Version) album. 

Shortly after the split, Taylor opened up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed that Joe had broken up with her over a 25-second phone call. ‘Some day, I’m gonna find somebody really, really, really great, who’s right for me,’ the singer stated. 

‘When I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful and when I look at that person, I’m not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18,’ she added.  

According to People, Joe later took to his own Myspace page to address the phone call that Swift had mentioned. 

‘For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation.’ 

‘Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk,’ he had written at the time. 

However, as the years passed, the two appeared to be on good terms. In 2019, Taylor notably apologized to the actor for putting him ‘on blast’ during her Ellen DeGeneres interview. 

And earlier this year in May, Joe gave an update on his relationship with Swift during an interview on the Dax Shepherd Armchair Expert podcast, per Billboard.  

He admitted, I’m cool with Taylor. We’re cool.’ In regards to her devoted fanbase (Swifties), he stated, ‘I hope to think they like me…No one f***s with the Swifties, you know?’

After Taylor and Joe broke up, he later sparked a budding romance with British-born actress, Sophie Turner, in 2016. Three years later, the two tied the knot in May 2019 in Las Vegas, followed by a second ceremony in France.  

However, after four years of marriage, the two have gone their separate ways, with Joe filing for divorce on September 5 and citing their marriage as ‘irretrievably broken.’ 

At the time, the pair issued a joint statement on Instagram and said, ‘After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.’

They continued, ‘There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.’

The stars also plan to share custody of their two little ones: daughter Willow, three, and another daughter, one, whose full name has yet be revealed, but is referred to as DJ in court documents.

In a recent update in the former couple’s shock divorce, sources have recently claimed that the Waffle House singer has been ‘very sensitive’ about his relationship.

‘He was incredibly checked out and detached way back in April,’ Page Six reported.

‘Joe seemed very sensitive, almost touchy, when asked anything about his wife or family-related, so I’m guessing things were on the rocks with them before that.’

The new report comes after the Sucker hitmaker admitted he was having a ‘tough week’ at the sold out show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday.

‘It’s been a tough week. I just wanna say, look, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay?’ Joe said during an emotional interlude.

‘Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys,’ he continued.

However, in a recently resurfaced video, Sophie joyfully proclaimed herself a homebody who would ‘stay home all day’ if she could.
