Currently taking a gap year from the University of Florida to pursue her Olympic dreams, Kayla DiCello is after an official spot on the Paris 2024 roster following her listing as an alternate for Team USA in Tokyo. She was also the traveling alternate for the 2023 World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium.
Just one year into her NCAA career, DiCello has made quite the splash in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), becoming the SEC Freshman of the Year, a five-time All-American and eight-time SEC Freshman of the Week. At 17 years old, she took the all-around bronze at the 2021 World Championships.
In 2022, DiCello represented the U.S. at the Rio Pan American Championships and took the floor gold and team silver.
Katelyn Jong
**Katelyn Jong, **who qualified individually, will appear at her first Senior Pan American Games after taking the all-around and team gold at the Junior Games in 2021, as well as the gold in the all-around, team, vault and bars at the Junior Pan American Championships.
Jong made her senior debut at the 2022 Winter Cup, placing fifth all-around and later in the year, took the gold on floor at the Szombathely Challenge Cup in Hungary. She is a 17 year old highschool senior committed to Auburn University.
