According to Variety, Lionsgate is also pulling all its April and May films from theatrical release, which includes Saw reboot Spiral: From the Book of Saw (May 15), Janelle Monáe’s Antebellum (April 23), and Sarah Paulson’s Run (May 7). The most shocking removal is Marvel’s Black Widow, which was still committing to the May 1st release date, until a few hours ago when Disney decided it needed to be pulled from theatrical release as well.

Black Widow is the first movie to kick off Marvel’s phase 4, and now that it is pushed back, fans are wondering if this could affect the MCU timeline, given how interwoven films are in the MCU. But fret not, Variety reports that because Black Widow is a prequel, this delay won’t have much of an impact on Marvel’s phase 4.
