In 1993, Razak Khan made his Bollywood debut with the film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja in which he played the role of Keshav.
In 1997, he played the role of Nadi Dinna Changezi in the film Ishq.
In 1999, he appeared in the film Baadshah in which he played the role of Manikchand alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Twinkle Khanna. In the same year, Razak appeared in two films, Hello Brother as Ninja Chacha and Haseena Maan Jaayegi as Fainku.
Razak Khan is known for his role of Faiyaz Takkar (Takkar Pehelwan) in the film Akhiyon Se Goli Maare (2002). In 2003, he appeared in the film Hungama in which he played the role of Babu Bisleri.

In 1986, Razak Khan made his debut on television with the show ‘Naya Nukkad’ in which he played the role of Ulhas Bhai on DD National. In 1998, he played the role of Makodi Pahalwan in the Sony TV show Chamatkar. In 1997, he appeared in the Zee TV show Filmi Chakkar as Pappu Kangi. In 2012, Razak played a cameo role in the television show R. K. Laxman Ki Duniya on SAB TV. In 2014, Razak appeared in a comedy show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ as Golden Bhai on Colors TV.
In an interview, Razak talked about his role as Pinky’s husband in the television comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show and said,
It’s great to be a part of the show, especially as Pinky’s husband, Golden. She is hot, she is sexy and I’m absolutely in awe of her. I feel privileged that she chose me over the rest including actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar among others. It’s an honour to be working in this show with the talented King of Comedy, Kapil Sharma.”
Death
On 1 June 2016, Razak Khan, at the age of 65, took his last breath after he suffered a cardiac arrest at Sheesha Restaurant in Mumbai. Reportedly, he felt uneasiness in the chest and was immediately brought to the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra but was declared dead on arrival by the hospital authorities. He is buried in Narialwadi Qabristan, Byculla, Mumbai. In an interview, filmmaker Priyadarshan mourned the demise of Razak Khan and said,
“I just got to know. It is really sad. He has worked with me in a lot of movies and he was a great actor.”
