Actor

In 2002, he made his acting debut with the Hindi television series Kuchh Jhuki Si Palkein on Sony TV. He played the role of Sahil Virani in the popular soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000) in which he shared the screen with the former actress Smriti Irani and Mandira Bedi.

Later, he appeared in many television series including Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna (2008) on StarPlus, Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat (2017) on ALTBalaji & ZEE5. In 2022, he appeared in Sony SAB’s television series ‘Dil Diyaan Gallan’ in which he played the role of Dr Mandeep Brar.

• Sandeep has worked in a few ad campaigns for products including Kwality Wall’s, L.G., and Britannia.

• In an interview, Baswana said that he did not have time to go to the gym; however, he indulged himself in other physical activities such as skipping, stretching, and push-ups whenever he got time.

• He follows a vegetarian diet and drinks at least two litres of milk a day.

• In an interview, Sandeep said that he is a big fan of desi ghee.

• In an interview, while talking about his film Haryana (2022), Baswana revealed that they required a little footage of actress Alia Bhatt as a part of the film. All the sources their team approached quoted a huge amount and asked them if they had Bhatt’s permission to use her footage; however, Sandeep and his wife wrote an email to Alia Bhatt directly and to their surprise, she responded back. Later, Alia’s team made sure Sandeep’s film had everything they required.
