Holland plays a younger version of Nathan Drake in the film, while Mark Wahlberg plays his mentor Sully. Tom posted the photo, which is simply of his on-set folding chair, on to Instagram.
Very few details have actually been revealed about the Uncharted movie, but its production has been quite turbulent, having now reached its seventh director attached to the project in Venom director Ruben Fleischer. Aside from Holland and Wahlberg, it’s been rumoured that Antonio Banderas is also starring in the movie.
Holland himself has been vocal about the project in the past, declaring it as “one of the best scripts I’ve ever read”. The film was originally scheduled to open on March 5th, 2021, but with the series of delays on top of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we likely won’t be seeing the Uncharted movie in cinemas until late 2021 at the earliest.
